About Us & Our Process

We are implementing a new approach to family and children's portraiture, with the focus solely on customization and convenience for our clients. All appointments will take place either in your home, a concept ideal for those with little ones, or at our downtown Danville studio location.

During our initial consultation, we will be able to get a feel for your personal style, the feel of your home and your child or family in their environment. At the consultation we will assist you to determine the appropriate size portraits for your home and gifts for loved ones. We will discuss the location and look you would like to achieve with your portraits as well as clothing options and tips to ensure an enjoyable experience.

A location will be determined for your portrait sitting. Potential locations include but are not limited to:

Upon completion of your portrait session a preview appointment will be scheduled for you to view your images and select your favorites. Your images will be projected in the sizes that we have determined would work well for your home. We will also assist you with your frame selection for your portraits.

Landes Studios Fine PhotographyMichele Landes has been a professional photographer for over 25 years. With a degree in art and design, the field of photography was a natural transition after college.

She has been the owner of Landes Studios in Danville for 23 years. Prior to opening the studio Michele apprenticed with a full service studio that provided a well-rounded experience.

When Michele decided to open her own business she knew that children, families and their pets would be an area of passion and specialty.
